Jewelry

Almost every holiday season I try to introduce a new series of jewelry.  Recently, I used South African porcupine quills and brass bullet casings to create striking earrings and necklaces.  I also have made jewelry that incorporates glass taxidermy eyes and antique coins collected by my father. 

Well, eclectic pieces require funky jewelry boxes.  During a serendipitous visit to a Saratoga Springs cigar store I discovered a world of artisanal modern cigar boxes that lent themselves to transformation, as you will see in the photos that follow.
